So it’s the first of October, 30 days to Halloween and we begin the 30 Day Horror Film Challenge with 30 mini podcasts.

John Mulvaney, guest from episode 33 stuck around to talk about horror video games from Castlevania to Doom to Resident Evil to Silent Hill, their history, evolution and some of his favourites. Also I’m pretty sure I told him I wouldn’t put up this picture of him playing with my Alien 3 joystick… but here we are.

The opening film of Horrorthon 2013 was In Fear, starring Alan Leech and Alice Englert, it’s a British horror film set in Ireland (shot in Britain) about a young couple lost in the backroads of the Irish countryside, while someone out there hunts them. I sat down with the director Jeremy Lovering to chat about it.
